Weekend Liturgies: Saturday 4:00 pm (No 9:00 am Mass on Saturday)
Sunday 7:30 am, 9:30 am, 11:30 am.
Children of all ages are always welcome at Mass. The parish nursery, for 1-3 year olds, is generally open during school year months
during 11:30 Mass. The nursery is not open June, July and August, and some holidays. The current schedules is typically published in the weekly Guardian, available on-line.
Drop-ins are welcome. Our Sunday morning preschool program for 4 and 5 year olds is available during 9:30 Mass, from September until May.
(Registration is required.)
Schedules for Holy Day Masses are published the week prior.
(Sacrament of Reconciliation Saturdays 3-4:00 pm, and by appointment.)
Children's Liturgy of the Word
The Sunday 9:30 am and 11:30 am Mass includes the option for elementary school aged children to be dismissed
following the Opening Prayer, with a catechist, for readings on their level in the hall.
Children rejoin the community during the Offertory and remain for the
Liturgy of the Eucharist and conclusion of the Mass.
Eucharistic Adoration
Sacred Heart offers Eucharistic Adoration every Monday,in the church following 9:00am Mass, to closing prayers at 6:45pm.
Those who can commit to a specific hour on a regular basis (monthly, bi-weekly, weekly) are asked to call the parish office.
Commitments ensure we always have someone present. All are welcome to 'drop in' for some quiet time with the Lord.
Communion to the Homebound
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion make home visits to bring Eucharist to homebound parishioners on the first Friday of each month.
Please call the office if you would like to be visited, or are available to help with this outreach to
our parishioners. Training is available.
Praying the Rosary Together
Several groups meet regularly to pray the rosary at Sacred Heart.
Weekdays, following 9:00 am Mass the rosary is prayed in the church.
Thurday evenings at 7:00pm the rosary is prayed, specifically for Peace, in the parish library.
New participants are always welcome.
Men's Worship & Fellowship Groups
Our Saturday morning men's group meets from 7-9:00 am.
A second men's group meets on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month at 8:30 pm. for scripture study.
