Funeral Preparation
Funerals are scheduled with the priest through the parish office. References are available from the staff to help families select prayers and readings for a meaningful liturgy. Individuals interested in preplanning a liturgy for themselves or with a loved one are also welcome to complete a preference form and have it on file at the parish office.

Evening of Rembrance
Each November those who have lost a loved one during the year are invited to an Evening of Rembrance. With candle light, music and prayer we remember each individual, by name. Invitations to register for this memorial are sent to families who have had funerals at Sacred Heart, and published in October Guardians for those who have had funerals at other locations. (The funeral does not need to have been at Sacred Heart for participation in this beautiful service.)

Parish Book of Life
Also during November, we have on display near the altar, our parish Book of Life, naming those deceased family members who have left this world, but remain in our hearts and prayers. Names are organized in family pages. If you would like to start a family page, or add to an existing one, please download the form (see box on right), comlete the information, and drop it in the offeratory collection, or mail it to the parish office. Names requested during the year will be added will be added prior to November. Additions requested during November are added each week.
